Measure twice, cut once!

It’s an old adage used by craftsmen generation after generation. That’s because these four little words make a huge difference in the quality of workmanship. And, this little saying is put into practice for every job that Fieldstone Windows does. That’s right! For every installation they do, big or small, they take precise measurements not once, but twice to ensure the products install fit perfectly.
In fact, some projects even see Ken Simpson, owner of Fieldstone Windows and Doors Ltd. dropping in to see the job site and take second measurements himself - just to be sure the client will be very happy with the end result.
“We want to make sure that every measurement is accurate before we order products. If a window or door doesn't fit perfectly, the job will be delayed and the customer won’t be happy. We take the time to do it right the first time,” explains Ken.
A perfect fit!

Are you throwing money out the window?

My parents told me and I tell my children, “There is a big difference between wasting your money and spending it wisely.”

Spending money on energy to cool and heat your home is essential. Spending more than you need to is a waste. That’s why investing in new energy efficient windows (and doors) is worthwhile, you’ll save money in the long run. In addition, your home will look better and feel cooler this summer. Isn’t that a worthwhile investment?

Why Replace Your Windows?
To save money. New energy star windows will increase your home’s insulation factor and help you save on the cost of heating and cooling.
For better health. Condensation can cause rotting and mold that can affect your family’s health.
To increase your home’s value. Good looking, energy efficient windows make your home more aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient - two big selling features if you’re thinking about selling or re-financing in the next few years.
To save your furniture. New windows provide additional UV protection and can prevent your furnishings and decor from fading.

To save the planet. When you increase your home’s insulation factor, you use less natural gas, oil or electricity to heat and cool your home. That’s good for the environment and makes you “earth-friendly.”

Why replace your windows NOW?
Because every dollar you ‘throw out the window’ is a dollar you can invest in your home and your family.

The following are signs that your windows are wasting energy and costing you more...
Condensation or frost builds up
Drafts
Rotting, cracking or missing trim
Broken glass
Sticks open or closed
